Subaru announced that they had sold out the entire batch of anniversary BRZ sports coupes in advance. The 10th Anniversary Limited was unveiled last week to mark the 10th anniversary of the first generation Subaru BRZ. This modification will be assembled in a circulation of only 200 copies - such a number of orders for the car came in just three days.
Relative to the standard BRZ 10th Anniversary Limited, 18-inch matte black painted alloy wheels and a black nameplate on the trunk lid stand out. The body of the car is covered in WR Blue Pearl metallic blue enamel, the interior is with blue accents and embroideries on the door cards. A sticker with the name of the special version is applied to the rear window.
In Japan, the BRZ 10th Anniversary Limited with a 6-speed manual costs 3,388,000 yen, with an automatic transmission it costs 3,553,000 yen.
Recall, at the same time, Toyota released a commemorative package of the GR 86 coupe - it is timed to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the release of the 86 / GT86 model. A batch of Toyota commemorative cars has not yet been sold.
Subaru BRZ and Toyota GR86 are built on a single rear-wheel drive platform. The cars are equipped with a 2.4-liter gasoline boxer engine with a capacity of 228 hp.
