Subaru has released a special package for the Forester all-wheel drive station wagon. The performance is called XT-Edition and is timed to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the brand's all-wheel drive vehicles.

The XT-Edition is based on the Sport trim, but has a number of styling differences inside and out.

Exterior features include original design 18-inch dark metallic alloy wheels, rear spoiler, black grille, side mirror housings and luggage rails. The interior includes seats upholstered in a combination of artificial leather and water-repellent fabric, a dirt-resistant luggage compartment cover, decorative metallized inserts in the center console, front panel and door cards. In addition, LED lamps are mounted in the cabin, and the EyeSight Safety Plus semi-autopilot with an expanded field of view is included in the equipment.

In terms of technology, the XT-Edition is indistinguishable from the original Forester Sport, that is, it is equipped with a 1.8-liter boxer turbo engine with 177 hp. and a torque of 300 Nm, combined with a CVT and permanent all-wheel drive.
