Mitsubishi Motors has introduced an updated version of the Xpander budget compact van, which is produced for Southeast Asia. "Live" presentation will take place on November 11 at the motor show in Indonesia.
Xpander received a modified exterior, designed to emphasize the "crossover" of the car. The model itself appeared in 2017 as a minivan, and in 2019 a cross version was released. Now all versions of the car have increased ground clearance: the ground clearance has increased by 15-20 mm, up to 220-225 mm.
The car has gotten longer. The front overhang is now larger by 75 mm, the rear by 45 mm. This happened only due to the bumpers, all other parts of the body remained the same. Blade Silver Metallic added.
New outdoor lighting equipment has been applied. The front headlight unit (mounted below the thin strips of DRLs) received a T-configuration, while the taillights had a different graphics.

Suspension Mitsubishi Xpander revised with an eye to improving comfort. To do this, the rigidity of the attachment points at the front has been increased, as well as the cross-sectional area of the rear shock absorbers.
With a total circulation of 372,000 Xpanders from 2017 to October 2021, this is one of the most popular Mitsubishi models in Southeast Asia. Sales of the updated version will begin before the end of the year, prices have not yet been announced.
