Mitsubishi showed a new crossover for developing countries

Mitsubishi

Mitsubishi Motors (MMC) introduced the XFC Concept concept crossover - it was shown at a special event in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam).

The design of the development is made in the latest iteration of the Mitsubishi corporate identity - the exterior combines emotional forms, “clean” surfaces, and a pronounced volume of the hood. LED headlights and lanterns - in the form of the letter T littered to one side. The “floating” roof and large wheels attract attention.

Inside, there is a five-seater layout and a digital instrument panel + multimedia screen combined into one cluster. The role of the side mirrors is performed by rear-view cameras - they broadcast the image through small displays installed along the edges of the front panel. The glass roof provides additional daylight to the cabin.

Technical characteristics of the Mitsubishi XFC are not given - most likely, this is just a running layout. It is noted that the car has a function of preset driving modes, in which the Normal (normal), Wet (wet), Gravel (gravel) and Mud (dirt) settings are sewn up.

A production car with a design as close as possible to this concept car will be released in 2023. The target markets for it will be the developing countries of the Asia-Pacific region. MMC has high hopes for the promising model and hopes that it will repeat the success of the Xpander cross-van.
