Mitsubishi Motors (MMC) on May 9 announced its plans for new models until the end of 2023. The company's press service said that following the recently introduced ASX crossover for the European Union and the Delica Mini off-road kei car for Japan, new generations of the Triton / L200 pickup truck and the Colt golf car will come out. In addition, a hybrid version of the Xpander van and another mysterious model is expected, the prototype of which is the XFC Concept. Thus, consumers will receive four more new products from MMC this year.
The next (sixth) generation Triton/L200 was previewed at the end of March, and the car will be presented in full in the coming weeks. It was created on a single frame platform with the next generation Nissan Navara, which has not yet been presented. Production of the car at the company's plant in Thailand will be established by the end of 2023.
It is known about the new Colt that it will be equipped with a hybrid power plant.
The XFC crossover is built for developing countries, so it will have conventional internal combustion engines, without a hybrid superstructure.
