Mitsubishi revives sports sub-brand Ralliart in the domestic market of Japan

Mitsubishi

Mitsubishi Motors (MMC) has relaunched the Ralliart sub-brand in the domestic Japanese market — the company has begun to offer branded accessories under it for the Outlander, Eclipse Cross, RVR crossovers and the Delica D: 5 van.

The name Ralliart was used by MMC's motorsports division, which operated from 1984 to 2010. It was engaged in the creation of race cars for a professional rally, in the 1990-2000s the brand was "commercialized" - they began to sell tuning parts for private consumers under it, as well as special versions of serial cars. In 2010, the division was closed due to MMC's financial difficulties.

The catalog of the revived Ralliart includes massive red mudguards, branded decals (stickers) on the sidewalls of the body, aerodynamic spoilers and individual elements for the interior in the original style. Items are sold in bundles or individually. There are no parts that improve performance or handling.

For Outlander, a full set of options costs 177,870 yen, Eclipse Cross - 176,946 yen, RVR (ASX) - 101,706 yen, Delica D: 5 - 132 880 yen.

UPDATE FROM MARCH 18: At the same time, MMC presented the subcompact Mirage Ralliart at the international motor show in Bangkok (Thailand). This version was created specifically for the developing countries of Southeast Asia. It differs from the standard version with Ralliart logo side decals and mudguards, as well as Ralliart logo floor mats and seats in red and black. The Mirage Ralliart is available in Whited Diamond and Red Metallic. The sporty character of the model is reinforced by the roof, radiator grille, light-alloy wheels, exterior mirrors, door handles and rear spoiler, all finished in black.
