The British division of Mitsubishi Motors brought to the local market an unusual commercial vehicle, which was created on the basis of the Outlander PHEV crossover. The car was named Outlander PHEV Commercial.
The car differs from the standard crossover in the absence of a rear row of seats: instead, a cargo compartment with a length of 1650 mm is equipped, in which cargo weighing up to 510 kg can be placed. The interior of the car is fenced with a steel mesh, and the equipment also includes a multimedia system with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, heated windshield and seats. Shod machine in alloy wheels R18.
Under the hood of the crossover van is a hybrid power plant from the original Outlander PHEV, which consists of a gasoline naturally aspirated engine operating on the Atkinson cycle and two electric motors that are connected to a 13.8 kWh battery. The total power of the installation is 224 hp, and the power reserve on electric traction reaches 57 kilometers.
It is worth noting that green zones will come into effect in London from 2021, and vehicles that do not meet certain CO2 emission parameters will be subject to a fee of £12.5 per day.
In the basic configuration, the car is estimated in the British market at 25,113 pounds.
