The Japanese company Mitsubishi Fuso has updated the Rosa middle class bus.
Despite the fact that Rosa is a long-liver (produced since 1997), all modernization has been reduced to restyling. The model received a completely new front panel - with headlights in the form of the letter L and a large radiator grille. Now the design of the front part has something in common with the Fuso Canter truck. Headlights have LED elements, "foglights" are also made on LED elements. By the way, this is the first restyling in 21 years of Rosa production.
In a configuration with an extended wheelbase and a 29-seat interior, the updated Mitsubishi Fuso Rosa is sold in Japan at a price of 6,740,766 yen (3.9 million rubles at the current exchange rate). The machine is equipped with a TPG-BE 640G turbodiesel with a capacity of 175 hp. and 6-speed manual transmission, rear-wheel drive. In the range of the bus there is also an all-wheel drive version.
In Japan, the Rosa is the Toyota Coaster's main competitor. Toyota has solidified the Coaster's position since the introduction of the new generation model at the end of 2016. Mitsubishi Fuso apparently does not have the funds to develop a completely new Rosa, so the company responded to its rival with restyling.
Recall that Mitsubishi Fuso has long been unrelated to the "passenger" company Mitsubishi Motors and is part of the German concern Daimler AG.
