Mercedes-Benz has introduced a new special version of the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class limousine - it has the prefix Haute Voiture in its name and is distinguished by a number of styling features outside and inside.
The body of the S-Class Haute Voiture is painted in a two-tone scheme: the upper part is covered with a deep dark blue metallic, the lower part is a delicate rose gold tint. In this sense, the serial Haute Voiture repeats the show car shown in May.
The seats of the car are trimmed in Crystal White leather, while the door cards use boucle inserts (coarse plain weave) with an original pattern. The flooring is made from a combination of wool and fluffy mohair. Rose gold colored champagne glasses included. Especially for the S-Class Haute Voiture, the graphic design of the MBUX media system interface has been changed.
Mercedes-Benz plans to assemble 150 of these cars on prepaid orders, they will be shipped to customers in 2023. On the center console of each copy is a plate with an engraved individual number. Each car will come with a set of special accessories - a scale Maybach replica, a branded keychain and a car cover with the brand's logo and Haute Voiture inscription.
In terms of technology, this S-Class is based on the S680 4Matic version, meaning it is equipped with a 6.0-liter V12 petrol with 630 hp. and a torque of 1000 Nm. The unit is combined with a 9-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
Along with the special edition, Mercedes will launch a collection of bags that will use the same materials as the upholstery of the new Maybach.
The target market for the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Haute Voiture is the Middle East.
