Mercedes-Benz held a presentation of light vans T-Class - a new name, but not a new model: "teshka" is a luxury version of the passenger Citan Tourer W420. Recall that the Citan W420 has been produced since 2021, it was created in partnership with Renault, relies on the third-generation Renault Kangoo platform, has a common load-bearing body structure with it, unification in suspensions and engines.

T-Class on the outside of the Citan Tourer is distinguished by details:

chrome-plated horizontal slats in the radiator grille,
decorative edging on the tailgate,
rims of a more refined style,
mirror housings of our own design with narrowed turn signal repeaters.
The overall length, width and height are completely identical to the Citan - 4498 mm, 1859 mm and 1811 mm, respectively. The basic configuration of the model assumes a five-seater saloon, but in the short term, an extended seven-seater version will also be released.

The advantages of the T-Class / Citan Tourer body include two sliding rear doors with wide and high openings (614 x 1059 mm), low loading height (561 mm), wide possibilities for transforming the interior, a choice of the type of tailgate (lifting one-piece or swing with two sashes).

Salon T-Class is equipped according to the class of passenger cars. There is a digital instrument panel with a 5.5-inch display, a MBUX media complex with a seven-inch screen and the ability to synchronize with a smartphone, climate control, keyless entry to the cabin, push-button ignition, ambient interior lighting with a choice of eight shades, seven airbags.

There are two basic configurations of the model - Style and Progressive, they differ in finishing and equipment.

So, Style has a combined seat upholstery (eco-leather + fabric), decorative inserts in the doors and front panel made of glossy black plastic, chrome accents on ventilation deflectors and door handles, folding tables on the back of the front seats and 16-inch alloy wheels with five knitting needles.

The Progressive Line features innovative Neotex nubuck leather seats, power rear doors, matt silver inserts in the doors and dash, 16-inch 10-spoke wheels and high performance LED headlights.

The family of the new van includes four modifications: gasoline T160 and T180, as well as diesel T160d and T180d.

Petrol options are equipped with M282 turbo units with a volume of 1.3 liters and a power of 102 hp. for T160 and 131 hp - for T180.

Diesel engines are equipped with 1.5-liter OM607 turbodiesels with a return of 95 hp. 160d and 116 hp - at 180d.

In the basic configuration - a six-speed manual transmission, for a surcharge - a preselective seven-speed "robot". Drive — only the front.
