McLaren

British sports car manufacturer McLaren has unveiled a new version of the 650S Spyder. The supercar will be produced in an edition of 50 copies - especially for the 50th anniversary of the first Canadian-American Can-Am races (1966), in which McLaren won a series of victories.

The novelty is designed to recall McLaren racing cars of the 1960s, which is noticeable in the body color (three colors are available in total) and specially designed rims. A number of parts are made of carbon fiber (including the hood, front fenders, retractable roof, “aerobrake”), and the exhaust system with four pipes is made of stainless steel. The interior is trimmed with Alcantara and carbon inserts, and the driver's door is decorated with an exclusive emblem.

The car is equipped with a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 641 hp. and thrust of 678 Nm. Up to 100 km / h, the supercar accelerates in three seconds, and its maximum speed limit is 329 km / h.

The cost of the car will be 255,850 pounds (about 24.1 million rubles at the current exchange rate).

It is worth noting that McLaren adheres to the planned plan to produce a new model every year. Global sales of the brand continue to grow and last year reached a record high of 1649 vehicles.
