The compact crossover Mazda CX-30 began to install a 2.5-liter turbo engine. This version will be sold, in particular, in the US market.
The internal combustion engine produces 253 hp. and 433 Nm. But this is only on premium brand gasoline (corresponds to AI-96, -98 according to Russian standards). If you fill in regular (AI-91, -92), then the output will be 230 hp. and 420 Nm.
Turbo version Mazda CX-30 will be equipped by default with a 6-speed "automatic" and all-wheel drive.
The most powerful modification of the CX-30 can be visually distinguished by gloss black painted mirror housings and 18-inch alloy wheels. The crossover also received slightly enlarged exhaust tips and a TURBO badge on the tailgate.
The interior features chrome inserts, an auto-dimming frameless rear-view mirror, an 8.8-inch infotainment screen, a 12-speaker Bose premium audio system and a multi-function steering wheel.
The i-Activsense safety system is installed on the CX-30 Turbo, which monitors obstacles ahead, can automatically stop the car, and also recognizes traffic signs. The equipment also includes an all-round view. The car is able to follow in the selected lane at speeds up to 64 km / h.
The turbocharged Mazda CX-30 will go on sale in the US before the end of the year. Prices are not named. The crossover is expected to be more expensive than the Mazda 3 Turbo, which starts at $29,900.
