The next generation Mercedes-Maybach S-Class showed its interior for the first time

Maybach

On April 22, we discussed the interior of the next generation Mercedes-Benz C-Class, and today you can “wash the bones” of the new generation of the flagship S-Class. And we are not talking about the standard version, but about the Mercedes-Maybach.

Despite the distance of two classes (and given the fact that we also have a top version of the Mercedes-Maybach, it is even more), the interiors of the S-Class and C-Class are similar to such an extent that without a direct comparison of the photos in them you can even get confused. Central displays with the same tilt, similar digital instrument panel, identical steering wheel: yes, even a Mercedes specialist will get confused here.

But with perseverance, small differences can still be found. The screen of the flagship is slightly larger, and the air conditioning unit is designed differently. Other elements are still disguised either on the "tseshka" or on the "esque", so it's too early to draw final conclusions.

Much less is known about the appearance and characteristics of the flagship sedan than about the interior. Since the S-Class has always represented the most advanced technology not only in the company, but in the entire industry, we can expect a new autopilot, innovative safety systems and hybrid versions from the successor. An all-electric modification will also appear, but it will look completely different and will be called EQS.

S-Class W223 and Maybach X223 will be presented in 2020. The start of sales may be delayed until 2021.
