The body shop DC Dream Cars from Austria will produce the Maybach 57 S coupe on the basis of the sedan of the same name, which is currently out of production.
Representatives of the studio claim that they have exclusive rights to produce coupes based on old Maybachs (Mercedes officially relaunched the brand in a new format). It is not yet possible to confirm or deny this information, but earlier another studio called Xenatec was engaged in the production of two-door Maybachs with the official assistance of the Daimler concern, which owns the brand. Xenatec is currently out of business.
The coupe from DC Dream Cars is equipped with a six-liter V12 engine known from the serial Maybach, developing 630 hp. power, but the manufacturer offers its own modifications for the motor, the details of which are not reported. It is known that the construction of one coupe will take the Austrians about three months.
If there is no opportunity to wait, then the company offers to buy two ready-made coupes - a white Maybach 57 S without a run is estimated at 1,000,000 euros, and its black counterpart with a mileage of 1,000 km costs 590,000 euros.
