Maserati has prepared for the premiere in Geneva the updated sports coupe GranTurismo MC Stradale.
The previous version of the model, which began to be produced in 2010, had a two-seat interior, and a safety cage was installed instead of the rear seats. The model, which is being prepared for the premiere, offers four seats. There are other differences as well, including a carbon-fiber hood with air scoop and new 20-inch forged wheels. Obviously, there will be changes in the cabin, but the Italian manufacturer has not yet disclosed all the details.
It is known that under the hood of the four-seater GranTurismo MC Stradale, a 4.7-liter naturally aspirated V8 with a capacity of 460 hp will work. Torque will be transmitted by a 6-speed MC Race Shift robotic gearbox. The maximum speed, like the two-seater version, will be 303 km/h. Whether the second row of seats will affect the acceleration dynamics is not yet reported. Now the coupe with two seats accelerates to “hundreds” in 4.5 seconds, which is the best indicator among serial Maserati.
The production of the restyled coupe will be launched at the main Maserati plant in Modena.
