Maserati is completing preparations for its first SUV, the Levante, for its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show.
It is already known that the Q4 intelligent all-wheel drive system and electronically controlled suspension as standard will allow the Levante to ride on different types of surface. A range of petrol and diesel V-engines will provide the crossover with the dynamics that all Maserati rely on. It is also no secret that the novelty will be equipped with a specially tuned eight-band "automatic".
While detailed specifications are being kept under wraps until the premiere, as usual, the Levante's exterior design can be seen right now. In its appearance, the crossover is close to other models of the Italian brand, as well as to the original Maserati Kubang concept car. One of the main distinguishing features of the Levante are the narrow headlights adjacent to the grille.
World sales of the Maserati Levante will start this year, and Europeans will be the first to receive it in the spring. The production of the car has already started at the Mirafiori plant in Turin, Italy.
