An elongated 8-seat modification has appeared in the range of modern Land Rover Defender L663, it has the index 130 in the name. Recall that until now “Def” existed in versions 110 (standard, five doors) and 90 (shortened, three doors). They did not offer more than five places.
"One hundred and thirty" is built on the basis of the usual five-door version of the SUV and does not differ from it in terms of wheelbase (3022 mm), but the rear overhang is increased by 340 mm, that is, the total overall length of the car reaches 5358 mm. This is, for a second, 373 mm more than the Land Cruiser 300, and 9 mm more than the Chevrolet Tahoe.
The novelty will be offered in two cabin configurations - an eight-seater or (if no additional seats are needed) a five-seater. In the three-row version, a decent trunk remains behind the backs of the last places - 389 liters, if they are folded, the volume can be increased to 1232 liters. "Putting" also the second row, you can get an ersatz van with a compartment of 2291 liters.
The Defender 130 comes standard with an 11.4-inch media system and air suspension. In the European Union, the novelty will be offered in three engine modifications - two petrol and one diesel, all with a "mild hybrid" system.
The base version of the P300 has a 3.0-liter petrol turbo engine with 300 hp. Stepping up the P400 is a 3.0-liter turbo with 400 hp. Diesel modification implies a 295-horsepower 3.0-liter unit. The gearbox in all cases is an 8-speed automatic, the drive is all-wheel drive.
The exit angle suffered from the increase in the rear overhang - at the 130th it is 28.5 degrees. For option 110, it is 37.6-37.9 degrees (depending on the type of suspension).
