On the popular YouTube channel Supercar Videos, a video of races in a straight line at a distance of 1/2 mile (804 meters) with the participation of the Ferrari 488 Pista supercar, which was opposed by a tuned 800-horsepower current, fifth generation Toyota Supra, a Lamborghini Urus sports crossover and a modified 400- strong hot hatch Toyota Yaris GR.
From the first meters of the race, the Ferrari 488 Pista easily breaks away from the Japanese Toyota hatchback, which is not surprising, given the twofold difference in power. As a result - more than five seconds of advantage at the finish line. The 800-horsepower Supra showed itself much better: it covered the distance in 17 seconds, against 16 for the Italian car. But the crossover Lamborghini Urus (its power is not disclosed) gave the fight to Ferrari, losing only 0.5 seconds, although the 488 Pista showed a frankly weak result in this race - 18.36 seconds.
At the end of the video, a tuned Volkswagen Golf competes against the Italian supercar, but it loses 2.2 seconds to Ferrari, showing a time of 18.99. Audi R8 performed better than him (17.3 seconds). Both models failed to outrun the 488 Pista, although the German sports car took the lead in the first few meters thanks to the all-wheel drive system.
What conclusion can be drawn from this video? Produced until 2020, the Ferrari 488 Pista is one of the fastest production supercars in the world for a reason, and it is not easy to resist even if you force the factory sports car to the extreme.
