The jury of the international Women's World Car of the Year competition has named the best models in 2023.
The absolute superiority went to the compact crossover Kia Niro of the second generation. Autocar journalist Renuka Kiripalani, one of the jury members, explains this choice: “Niro is a practical small city car that has everything you need at an affordable price.” Motor1 adds that the Niro offers a wide range of motor versions – there are hybrid, plug-in hybrid and pure electric options. At the same time, the Kia Niro took first place in the Best Urban Car category.
The jury of WWCOTY-2023 includes 63 female experts from 45 countries of the world. All women are professional automotive journalists.
WWCOTY was held for the 12th time.
