The plug-in Sorento is equipped with a hybrid power plant, it includes a 1.6-liter turbo engine with 180 hp, a 91-horsepower electric motor mounted next to the internal combustion engine, a 6-speed automatic, and a high-voltage battery with a capacity of 13.8 kWh under the driver's seat. The total output of the system is 265 hp, the power reserve exclusively on electric traction is 57 km on the WLTP cycle, in the city this figure can reach 70 km.

The interior of the rechargeable Sorento has a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel that allows you to monitor the charge level and energy and fuel consumption, as well as a 10.25-inch media system.
