The new generation of Hyundai Grandeur received a spectacular design

Hyundai

Hyundai Motor has shown a business-class sedan Grandeur of the new (seventh) generation (factory code - GN7).

In the next incarnation, the Grander received an extravagant exterior, with a shortened rear part, the model tends to be a fastback body type. Attention is drawn to retractable door handles (like Tesla), minimalist sidewalls, triangular windows in the rear pillars, a solid horizontal taillights and a two-tier design of the front lighting (headlights in the corners of the bumper, above them a “tape” of daytime running lights). In the front there is a huge mesh false radiator grille. The overall style of the novelty echoes the Staria van (adjusted for different body types).

Inside, there is a futuristic atmosphere: a digital instrument panel and a media system screen are combined into a single cluster, another display is mounted in the center console - secondary functions, such as climate control, are controlled through it.

Alas, Hyundai has not yet published any technical information about the new Grander - it will be revealed in the coming weeks. Sales of the sedan will start in early 2023.

According to unofficial data, the model is built on a platform from the Kia K8 sedan produced since 2021. That is, the drive will be front or full (at the choice of the buyer). The overall length of the Grandeur is 5015 mm (+25 mm relative to the machine of the outgoing sample).

A choice of four options is expected - gasoline engines with a volume of 2.5 or 3.5 liters, or a 3.5-liter dual-fuel unit (gasoline + propane-butane), or a hybrid installation composed around a 1.6-liter gasoline turbo.
