Hyundai Motor has released the first photos of the second-generation Kona compact crossover. Recall that the Kona of the outgoing model appeared in 2017, it is simultaneously mass-produced in South Korea, China, and Portugal.
So, the second Kona has a length of 4355 mm, which is 140 mm more than its predecessor. The wheelbase is 2660 mm (+60 mm), the width is 1825 mm (+25 mm).
The exterior of the car is made in a new iteration of the brand's corporate identity: in front there is a solid horizontal LED DRL, in the corners of the bumper there are blocks of low and high beams. In the off-road version, the headlights are combined in a graphic dark color with the front wheel arch extensions. On the sidewalls, the punching in the form of a diagonal broken line attracts attention.
The technical side of the new Kona Hyundai has not yet been covered, however, it is stated that they will offer four modifications of the car: gasoline, hybrid, purely electric and sports. The latter will receive the N Line prefix in the name and will stand out from the outside with a body kit and low-profile wheels.
Inside, there is a digital instrument panel with a diagonal of 12.3 inches and a media system screen of the same dimension.
Other details will be revealed in early 2023.
