Hyundai Motor, under its status brand Genesis, introduced a novelty - a large luxury convertible X Convertible.
Despite the fact that the Genesis X Convertible is presented as a demonstrator of Genesis corporate identity called Athletic Elegance (“athletic elegance”), a car with exactly the same appearance will go into production no later than 2024.
The appearance of the X Convertible is made according to the classic canons of the genre, but at the same time it bears the already established family signs of Genesis.
Squat smooth silhouette, long hood, short front overhang and elongated rear. When viewed in profile, conditional lines denoting the upper and lower limits of the rear part are directed towards each other - this technique gives dynamics to the image, allows a large car not to look too heavy. The profiled fenders and hood look interesting, as well as the feed that forms an ellipse in cross section.
In the interior there is no trace of the austerity of the serial Genesis salons - rounded natural natural shapes, convex and concave surfaces, as if a living organism is hidden under the shell.
The manufacturer does not provide any data on the mechanics of the car, but, obviously, the serial Genesis convertible will be a pure electric car. This is clearly indicated by the fact that the main consumer of cars of this class is the North American state of California.
