Hyundai Motor has distributed branded photos of the new second-generation Genesis G80 - this is a sports variant.
From the standard sedan G80 Sport differs features in the exterior and interior. Outside - an aggressive aerodynamic body kit, including the original front and rear bumpers, as well as a spoiler on the trunk lid. Also here are low-profile wheels with a diameter increased to 20 inches with discs in a special design. They will also offer an exclusive body color Cavendish Red (rich metallic red).
Among the features of the interior are a three-spoke sports steering wheel, unique seat upholstery, door cards, and a front panel.
Whether there are any technical innovations is not specified. A full presentation of the new Genesis G80 Sport will take place within a few weeks.
Recall that the standard second-generation Genesis G80 (code RG3) has been produced since April 2020. This business class sedan is available with rear or all-wheel drive. The car is equipped with petrol engines of 2.5 or 3.5 liters or a 2.2-liter diesel engine. The power of the first engine is 304 hp, the second - 375 hp, the third - 207 hp. The “pure electric car” version presented in April 2021 stands apart, it has two motors (one per axle) with a total output of 272 kW (370 hp).
