Hyundai Motor has released all the information about the updated version of the Elantra CN7 family sedan. While we are talking about a car in the specification for the domestic Korean market, there it bears the name Avante.
Recall, the first photos of new items Hyundai distributed on February 27. Outside Elantra / Avante received a redesigned front and rear. The composition "headlights + grille" has become more aggressive. The new headlights are smaller in area than the old ones and do not go over the fenders.
With the Avante update, they began to be equipped with a built-in DVR, the camera is installed at the top of the windshield, it can display an image not only on the display of the media system, but also on the owner’s smartphone. Also, using a proprietary application, you can download the function of an electronic key to your smartphone, which remotely unlocks or locks the car. At the same time, it is possible through the application to transfer the rights of the remote key to other people (up to seven people).
After-Blow function appeared in the climate system, which prevents the appearance of mold. How this technology works: after turning off the ignition, After-Blow dries the air conditioner evaporator and the air path from condensate and moisture residues for about 10 minutes. At the same time, air is taken from the external environment. After-Blow technology itself is not new - Hyundai has been using it since 2020, but the function has only now reached the Elantra / Avante. Another important detail is that After-Blow is not activated when the battery is low or when the outside temperature is below zero.
The modernization did not affect the engines - the model will continue to be offered to Koreans with the following units:
gasoline volume of 1.6 l, 121 hp,
bi-fuel with a volume of 1.6 liters (gas + propane-butane), 118 hp,
hybrid installation with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine and an electric motor, 141 hp
Later, the upgrade will reach the N Line and N sports modifications (they are equipped with 1.6-liter and 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engines).
