Restomod based on Hummer H1: 6.6-liter diesel engine develops almost 1400 Nm of torque

The Detroit company Mil-Spec, which attracted attention with the project of the "track" Hummer, introduced something more conservative based on the same model.

Restomod project (restomodding - restoration interspersed with more modern technical solutions) received a simple and understandable designation 004, indicating the serial number in the list of Mil-Spec works. Based on a first-generation four-door Hummer pickup truck, painted in desert camouflage and complemented by an aircraft-grade aluminum center roof section.

Under the hood is a 6.6-liter diesel engine modified by Mil-Spec engineers, the return of which is 500 hp. and 1355 Nm. The motor is paired with a 6-speed Allison 1000 automatic transmission. Power bumpers, tubular protective cages, a beam with LED lighting and a Warn winch are installed outside.

The interior is upholstered in leather. The SUV received a JL C5 audio system, power windows on all doors, an improved heating and ventilation system. The price of the car is $250,000.
