Geely Automobile has revealed new details about the Zeekr 009 electric full-size van, which will be fully presented in the near future.
The 009 has the best streamlining in the segment, with a drag coefficient of just 0.27. It is alleged that more than 20 engineering optimizations of aerodynamics have been implemented in the design of the car. Thanks to them, the range of the van on one battery charge was increased by 57.6 km.
Zeekr 009 dimensions: length - 5209 mm, width - 2024 mm, height - 1856 mm, wheelbase - 3205 mm. The design of the machine is based on the SEA platform (Sustainable Experience Architecture), it was created specifically for the use of purely electric power plants and, in principle, does not involve the use of internal combustion engines. The promising van has a futuristic exterior, which is characterized by a two-volume profile (with a small flattened nose), sophisticated lighting technology and a massive silvery “blotch” in place of the traditional radiator grille.
On a single battery charge Zeekr 009 will be able to drive up to 700 km.
According to information leaked through the Chinese Ministry of Industry, the van will be equipped with two electric motors (one per axle), their total power is 400 kW (544 hp), the car has a full drive. In the standard configuration, the novelty from Geely will have a six-seater saloon with individual luxury seats.
