Geely introduced a replacement for the Atlas crossover

On August 5, Chinese Geely held the world premiere of the new Boyue L mid-size crossover. The model is built on the CMA (Compact Modular Architecture) modular platform, which was jointly developed by Geely and the Swedish Volvo Cars (part of the Chinese concern).

Geely Boyue L was endowed with a dashing exterior with a pronounced hood volume, LED headlights hidden in a huge radiator grille, complex plastic sidewalls and an H-shaped taillight solution.

The overall length, width, height of the Geely Boyue L are 4670, 1900 and 1705 mm, respectively, the wheelbase is 2777 mm.

Inside, there is a digital instrument panel and a vertical 13.2-inch display of the media system mounted on top.

At first, the Boyue L will be offered in two engine versions - with 1.5-liter (BHE15) or 2.0-liter (JLH-4G20) petrol turbo units. In the first case, the power is 181 hp, and the torque is 290 Nm, the second characteristic is 218 hp. and 325 Nm. The transmission uses a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The front wheels are leading, but all-wheel drive modifications should come out later, incl. with 1.5TD-3DHT Thunderbolt hybrid system.
