Citroen will produce an electric convertible-crossover E-Mehari

Citroen

Citroen has introduced a serial convertible-crossover E-Mehari. The car will go on sale in France next spring.

The development of the car was carried out jointly by Citroen and electric car manufacturer Bollore Group. Strictly speaking, the Citroen E-Mehari is based on Bollore's own Bluesummer Convertible.

To release the car under the Citroen brand, its appearance was brought into line with the Cactus M concept car, which was shown in Frankfurt last fall.

As a power plant, the new Citroen uses a 67-horsepower electric motor and a battery with a capacity of 30 kilowatt-hours. This is enough for a top speed of 110 km/h and a range of 200 km. It will take 13 hours (10 amp socket) or 8 hours (16 amp socket) to fully charge the machine.
