The Citroen Ami electric car received a cargo version for intracity transportation, it is indicated by the Cargo prefix in the title.
The novelty differs from the original passenger Ami in the absence of a passenger seat, instead of which a luggage compartment with a volume of 260 liters is equipped, that is, in this configuration, the car has only one seat - the driver's seat.
Ami Cargo, as well as the passenger version, belongs to the class L7e "Heavy quadricycles" (not to be confused with ATVs). That is, it is a motorized carriage with an electric motor and automotive controls. To drive an Ami, it is enough to have a motorcycle license, which is issued from the age of 16 (in France, even from 14).
The length, width and height of the "pod" are 2.41 m, 1.39 m and 1.52 m, respectively. Curb weight - 425 kg. The car is driven by an 8 hp electric motor, it is capable of accelerating Ami Cargo up to 45 km/h. The battery with a capacity of 5.5 kWh provides a range of 75 km.
In France, Citroen has already begun accepting orders for the Ami Cargo, starting at €6,490.
