Cadillac, which is part of General Motors, will introduce three new models of electric vehicles in 2023, which will be put into production in 2024, according to Green Car Reports, an online resource about electric vehicles, citing company vice president Ron Harvey.
According to General Motors' EV plan unveiled in 2020, Cadillac's new EVs will be in the compact crossover, three-row midsize crossover and full-size crossover classes.
Obviously, they will receive market names with the iq suffix characteristic of Cadillac electric vehicles from the list of recently patented General Motors - Ascendiq, Optiq, Simboliq, Vistiq, Lumistiq, and Escalade IQL. To date, Cadillac does not offer electric vehicles on the market.
Introduced in 2020, the Lyriq crossover and the Celestiq Granturismo coupe are being prepared. Lyriq is scheduled to go into production in March, Celestiq in December.
