Cadillac has announced the release of a special edition of the CTS-V coupe, which will be produced in the amount of 500 copies.
The car will get a new grille, red-painted calipers, and matt black wheels. The coupe will be available with three special body colors: Crystal White (white), Phantom Gray (gray) and Black Diamond (black).
Inside, the CTS-V will feature red-stitched Recaro sports seats, a perforated suede-wrapped steering wheel, aluminum pedal caps, and wood trim.
The engine of the coupe will remain the same - a 6.2-liter V8 with a mechanical supercharger, developing 550 hp. power and 750 Nm of torque. The motor is equipped with a six-speed "mechanics" or "automatic" with the same number of gears. To "hundreds" CTS-V accelerates in 4 seconds.
In addition, the car will be equipped with an adaptive Magnetic Ride Control suspension that can change stiffness in various road conditions.
The company noted that the next generation CTS-V is in development. The model will be officially presented in 2015 and will receive a "dynamic design and an abundance of technical delights."
