BMW has begun selling options for its cars by subscription, a method that has only been implemented in South Korea so far. Many positions are offered, including heated seats, steering wheel, Apple CarPlay, high beam assistant and more. You pay - and within a certain period the opportunity to use the selected function opens.
According to Motor1, a subscription to heated seats is issued in the company's online app store BMW ConnectedDrive Store. A month costs $18. You can get a discounted subscription for a year - $176 or three years - $283. In addition, a free trial period is available for a month. Unlimited purchase of heated seats for Korean BMW owners will cost $406.
A heated steering wheel is priced at $10 for a month, $92 for a year, or $161 for three years. Unlimited option - $222.
Wireless sync with Apple CarPlay smartphone sells for $305.
