Audi has unveiled an updated version of the RS5. Modernization simultaneously affected both modifications of the fifth family: coupe and liftback.
The cars received new LED optics with intermittent stripes of running lights and an even wider front grille. Behind the novelties, it is easiest to recognize by the new pattern of lanterns.
There are not many changes inside. The MMI controller, which has long become traditional for Audi, has disappeared from the central tunnel. After the transition to the touch screens of the multimedia system, he was considered a rudiment and thrown out without regret.
The 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 remained in place. The motor still produces 450 hp. and 600 Nm. The dynamics have not changed either: the coupe is able to score the first “hundred” in 3.9 seconds.
The driver can choose from five driving modes: comfort, auto, dynamic, RS1 and RS2. The last two can be configured to your liking, and they are activated using a button on the steering wheel. A sporty rear differential is available as an option.
