Audi announced the electric car of the future

Audi

Audi has released a new batch of darkened images (teasers) of the concept electric fastback Grand Sphere - it will be presented in early September, the development will show the direction of the company's product line.

By 2033, Audi is set to move away from internal combustion engines, and the brand's future cars are designed with an eye on giving passengers as much space as possible inside. The Grand Sphere fastback therefore has short overhangs, but a stretched wheelbase, obviously heir to the current A7 Sportback model.

The interior of the car will be made based on the "mobile living room", providing the maximum level of comfort to passengers.

Despite the fact that the prototype will receive a level 4 autonomous driving system and the participation of the driver in the process of driving the car will not be required, the steering wheel will be retained. It has only two knitting needles and an oval shape, that is, it often does not have to be twisted.

But the displays of the media system and digital devices can not be seen at all. The company has not yet disclosed the technical characteristics of the machine. The public premiere of the concept will take place in September at the Munich Motor Show
