The fourth-generation Audi A3 hatchback was introduced in March, and a platform sedan appeared in April. And now they both got hold of the sport version of the S3.
Traditionally, the visually S-version has a more aggressive body kit. The air intake sections are larger and more pronounced. Installed new door sills and rear bumper. The character of the car is hinted at by a pair of double-barreled exhaust systems.
The new Audi S3 received a 2.0-liter turbo engine that produces 310 hp. and 400 Nm (the previous generation had 300 hp and 380 Nm). The internal combustion engine is paired with a 7-speed S tronic transmission and a quattro all-wheel drive system, which allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.8 seconds (the ancestor had 4.9). Top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h.
The hot hatch and hot sedan received a four-link rear suspension and adaptive steering. Relative to the standard A3, the body is set 15mm closer to the ground. S sport adjustable dampers are available as an option. The base provides 18-inch wheels, for a fee, the diameter is one inch larger.
In the cabin, a steering wheel cut along the chord and a diamond-shaped stitching of the seats appeared. Bang & Olufsen premium system available.
