In the range of Toyota Land Cruiser 300, a modification "truck with a double-row cab" appeared. Toyota Motor has nothing to do with this car - it was developed by the private company Creative Conversions from Australia. Such cars will be manufactured according to individual orders by the conversion method, that is, through the alteration of a finished standard SUV.
In the Creative Conversions project, the supporting frame of the Toyota Land Cruiser in the wheelbase area is extended by 700 or 800 mm, that is, up to 3550 or 3650 mm (at the customer's choice). The rear part is cut off from the body - and it is digested into the cabin, with the rear door panels remaining original. Buyers are offered an onboard aluminum platform with a length of 1800 or 2100 mm. Behind the rear doors in the cab, external storage boxes are organized.
The basic version of the cargo Toyota Land Cruiser has a total weight of 3800 kg and is capable of pulling a trailer weighing 3500 kg. For a surcharge, you can get a reinforced version that can pull a trailer weighing 4200 kg and having a total weight of 4495 kg.
To date, Creative Conversions has assembled the first two samples of the machine, and five more copies are in the works.
In Australia, the Land Cruiser 300 is supplied exclusively with a 3.3-liter biturbo diesel engine with a capacity of 304 hp. and a torque of 700 Nm. It is aggregated with a 10-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
Creative Conversions has extensive experience in manufacturing similar conversions based on the previous generation Land Cruiser J200.
The cost of converting Toyota Land Cruiser 300 into a truck is determined individually with the customer.
Recall that Toyota Motor recently suspended the acceptance of orders for the Land Cruiser 300 SUV, since the queue for some of its versions has already stretched for four years.
