Suzuki Motor has updated the Wagon R family of kei cars for the Japanese domestic market.
Three cars have undergone modernization - Wagon R, Wagon R Stingray and Wagon R Custom Z. Recall that they differ in styling.
Standard equipment includes adaptive cruise control with speed tracking and lane control. At the same time, Wagon R is still equipped with automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, including at night.
For the base car of the family, the design of the front bumper and radiator grill was changed. The body color palette has been refreshed - for the Wagon R it now includes 10 different shades, "foggy blue pearl metallic", "terracotta pink metallic" and "twilight blue metallic" have been added.
The basic equipment of the model is supplemented by a USB Type A / Type C charging connector, push-button ignition, a heated driver's seat, and air curtains. In addition, the air conditioning has become automatic.
The overall length and width of the Suzuki Wagon R are the maximum allowable for kei cars of 3395 mm and 1475 mm, respectively, the height is 1650 mm. The family is equipped with 660 cc gasoline engines with 49 hp. (atmospheric) or 64 hp (turbo), transmission - with a stepless variator, drive - front or full. For a less powerful engine, a 5-speed manual gearbox is also offered.
