Renault introduced a new development - a compact crossover 4EVER. The main feature of this car is its retro design, which bears many references to the legendary small car Renault 4 of 1961.
The exterior of the five-door 4EVER is characterized by a two-volume profile, rounded shapes, a beveled rear end, an elevated landing, as well as headlights and an imitation of a radiator grille combined into a single horizontal line. Massive wheel arch extensions, intricate wheels and trapezoidal rear side windows attract attention (they are outlined in white). Lighting technology has trendy pixel graphics.
The overall length, width and height of the crossover are 4160, 1950 and 1900 mm, respectively, the wheelbase is 2570 mm. Ground clearance - 200 mm. Wheels are 19-inch, they have a built-in system of centralized tire inflation.
The car is built on a chassis with a purely electric power plant, the architecture is called CMF-BEV, in principle, it does not provide for the use of internal combustion engines.
On the roof is a carbon-fiber expeditionary trunk, which houses a spare wheel, a shovel and off-road waffle boards. A special battery protection is installed under the bottom.
Renault 4EVER still has the status of a concept car, its technical characteristics are not given. However, this design project in a simplified form will be adapted to the future production model, which will go into production tentatively in 2024.
It is noted that the debut of the show car coincided with the 25th anniversary of the annual humanitarian rally 4L Trophy (in its framework, French students in Renault 4 cars deliver school supplies to children in Morocco through the deserts).
Recall that the original Renault 4 was produced in 1961-1994 - in total, more than 8 million copies were produced at ten factories around the world.
