Toyota Motor has released a special version of the ES front-wheel drive business sedan called the Graceful Escort for the Japanese domestic market. At the same time, all ES versions received a light update.
ES for the Japanese are now equipped with an improved preventive security complex - it can display the current traffic situation on the media system display in animated “top view” graphics.
The media system has also been modernized - firstly, its interface has been made more user-friendly, and secondly, the navigator began to work not only with pre-installed maps, but also with the most up-to-date cartographic data loaded from the cloud (they also reflect the availability of parking spaces at the current time).
In the cabin, for better ergonomics, the location of some switches, cup holders and a device for wireless charging of smartphones has been optimized.
As for the special version of the Graceful Escort, it implies a special design of the rims, an exclusive raspberry color of the leather trim.
Lexus ES in Japan is offered only in the 300h hybrid modification, which includes a 2.5-liter gasoline aspirated A25A-FXS with 178 hp. and an electric motor with a return of 120 hp, transmission - with a variator and front-wheel drive.
ES300h starts at 6,020,000 yen, Graceful Escort starts at 7,280,000 yen.
