As previously reported, Toyota Corporation bought a 5.9% stake in Isuzu to jointly develop new diesel engines.
The first "fruits" of this cooperation have already appeared - officials say that thanks to the combination of Isuzu's development in the field of diesel engines and Toyota's technologies in the creation of hybrid engines, the first diesel hybrid will be born as early as 2010.
