Isuzu has announced that it will not exhibit its own automotive developments at the Detroit International Auto Show next January. Prior to this, Isuzu demonstrated its SUVs at exhibitions, but now the company believes that participation in exhibitions does not affect sales growth in any way. The American representative office of Isuzu is of the opinion that it would be more efficient to participate in local auto shows.
Isuzu sells its trucks and SUVs in the US. Last year, under the influence of its major shareholder - General Motors - Isuzu produced mainly cars under OEM contracts.
