Based on the results of the analysis of sales of its cars in the US, Isuzu came to the conclusion that it is necessary to withdraw two models from sale this summer. These models were SUVs, which are supplied to Isuzu by Fuji Heavy Industries, which produces cars under the Subaru brand. Within the next five years, Isuzu will put them on sale again.
Since March 2003, sales of Isuzu SUVs in America have been extremely unstable with frequent entries into the red.
Models that are removed from sales are the Isuzu Rodeo and Isuzu Axiom. The latter are supplied to Isuzu by a subsidiary of Fuji Heavy Industries - Subaru of Indiana Automotive, located in Indiana (USA). Sales of these machines began in the US in 1998 and 2001. And Subaru of Indiana Automotive discontinued these models in July 2004.
