Infiniti spoke about the strategy until 2030 and teased with concepts

Infiniti

Infiniti has unveiled a new development strategy: by 2030, most of the cars that the brand sells will be electrified to one degree or another. In other words, it will be electric vehicles or hybrids.

“We will not let battery capacity alone dictate our strategy, but will empower customers to choose the power source that suits their lifestyle,” the company said in a statement. This implies that, unlike a number of other manufacturers, Infiniti will not bet only on 100 percent electric vehicles.

In the video published by the company, three concepts are casually demonstrated. One has the proportions of a crossover, two are endowed with squat silhouettes. No details are revealed.

Other frames show the front and rear LED optics stretching along the entire width of the body.

On November 29, Nissan Motor unveiled the Nissan Ambition 2030 long-term roadmap. As part of the presentation, the company also talked a lot about the shift in focus towards electric vehicles. The Japanese showed three new concepts (not counting the actual pre-production Nissan Chill-Out, which will go on sale in 2022), but at first glance they have nothing to do with the mysterious concept cars from the Infiniti presentation.
