Honda Motor has announced a light upgrade of the N-WGN kei car. At the same time, a new special version called N Style + - Style + Bitter was added to its range.
The Honda Sensing improved preventive safety system is included in the basic package of the model, it now has a function to prevent tangling of the brake and gas pedals. The system recognizes when the accelerator is accidentally pressed and suppresses unplanned acceleration, while a special icon lights up in the cabin and a loud horn sounds.
Outside, in the Custom N-WGN modification, it received a new design radiator grille - with a dark silver decorative edging and a glossy black mesh. Inside are upgraded front seats.
The N Style+ - Style + Bitter is based on the L Custom variant, but features a number of elegant styling details, including chrome-plated wheel covers, door handles, mirror caps, bumper covers. The press release notes that with this design, the key car becomes more mature in spirit. In the interior of the special series, decorative elements are used, painted in black piano lacquer and silver smoky paint. The seats are upholstered in premium quality fabric.
The technical side of the car has remained unchanged: N-WGN is equipped with 660 cc gasoline engines with 58 hp. (atmo) and 64 hp (turbo). Engines are combined with a CVT, front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
Sales of the updated Honda N-WGN will start on September 23, the key car will be offered to the Japanese at a price of 1,648,900 yen.
Recall that the class of kei-cars, or kei-jidosha in Japanese, includes cars with a length and width of no more than 3.4 and 1.48 m, respectively, with an engine capacity of no more than 660 cubic meters. cm and a maximum power of not more than 64 hp.
