Great Wall Motor Company will bring to the upcoming Guangzhou Auto Show, which will be held from November 19 to 28, a hydrogen car under the new luxury brand Salon. A promotional photo with a silhouette of the novelty was published by the press service of the auto giant.
There is very little information about the car yet, however, judging by the picture, we are talking about either a four-door sedan or a five-door liftback. The car has a swift silhouette with a low roof, a large rear window, angular body shapes, and a raised hood.
The Salon's specs are being kept under wraps for now, but it's currently known that it will be powered by electric motors connected to fuel cells. Energy in such a system is generated by an electrochemical reaction, as a result of which hydrogen is converted into electricity.
Shanghai Salon Zhixing Industrial Co was registered in December 2020, Great Wall is going to produce exclusively luxury electric vehicles under this brand, as well as cars with hydrogen power plants.
