Texas tuning studio Hennessey Performance is famous for its extreme projects. This time, the injection with a horse dose of adrenaline was given to the full-size GMC Sierra pickup truck, which is a luxury version of the more popular Chevrolet Silverado in the United States. The car was named Goliath 700 Supercharged.

A compressor was installed on the proprietary 6.2-liter V8. It is complemented by a high performance intercooler, custom camshaft, chrome pushrods and a crankcase ventilation system. As a result, the output of the G8 jumped from 420 to 700 hp. at 6300 rpm.

As a result, this lump is able to gain the first “hundred” (or rather, 96 km / h, since we are talking about 60 miles per hour) in just 4.3 seconds. The BMW M2 Competition takes about the same amount of time (4.2 seconds), and the Honda Civic Type R, with its 5.4 seconds, will generally have to swallow the dust far behind.

But Hennessey's improvements are not limited to just one boost. Together with the dynamics, the company's engineers increased the cross-country ability: they installed a 6-inch lift, 20-inch Hennessey branded wheels with 35 Toyo "toothy" tires and a power front bumper with an integrated LED bar.

Interior improvements on the general background look very modest. Only a few company logos and model names appeared inside.

Customers will have to pay $29,950 to upgrade the engine and interior. Tuning the off-road part will cost another $18,950. Production will be limited to 100 pickups per year.
