In October 2020, General Motors introduced the Hummer EV electric pickup truck, but the American company is not going to limit itself to it, and soon the GMC brand product line will be replenished with another fuel-free model with the same body type.
According to Automotive News, it was announced by GMC Vice President Duncan Aldred. There is still very little information about the car, but it is reliably known that we are talking about a full-size model (that is, its length will exceed five meters, like the fuel GMC Sierra) and it will be based on the GM BT1 modular electric platform (the Hummer EV pickup truck is also based on it and Hummer EV SUV). The power reserve of the novelty will be about 650 kilometers, in this respect it will surpass its future competitor in the face of the Ford F-150 Lightning (the latter can travel from 370 to 480 kilometers on a single charge, depending on battery capacity).
The premiere of the new GMC model will take place in the second half of 2022, it will go on sale in 2023.
