The Swiss turned the legendary Ferrari of the 80s into a restomod

The Swiss company Officine Fioravanti has introduced a restomod based on the 1984 Ferrari Testarossa. Recall that this term refers to the deep tuning of old cars, which combines the preservation of the original appearance and the processing of equipment with the installation of more modern units.

The classic Ferrari has undergone a comprehensive improvement - the chassis has been reconfigured, aerodynamics have been improved, and the engine has been upgraded.

The standard 12-cylinder boxer engine for the model was boosted to 510 hp. power and 599 Nm of torque, that is, an increase relative to the factory specification - 125 hp. and 109 Nm. The maximum speed of the restomod is 324 km/h, 34 km/h faster than the original.

The design of the Testarossa has been optimized - 130 “extra” kilograms have been dropped from the curb weight, the streamlining has been improved by installing aerodynamic bottom shields, which have reduced the resistance to the oncoming air flow.

The salon was updated with expensive Italian leather panels, an audio system was installed with the ability to synchronize with a smartphone and a Bluetooth connection function.

The car also received ABS, ESP, a titanium exhaust system and electronically controlled shock absorbers that allow you to increase front ground clearance by 70 mm. State-of-the-art Michelin GT3 Class tires and advanced Brembo braking system are used.

Externally, the car does not differ in any way from the usual Testarossa, even a characteristic feature is preserved - one side mirror (left).

Officine Fioravanti is ready to build such restomods on orders from private clients, the cost of alteration is not reported.

The original Testarossa was produced from 1984 to 1996, it is one of the most massive Ferraris, they were assembled about 10 thousand units.
