Ferrari has unveiled the exclusive F60 America roadster, the release of which is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the brand's presence in the US market.
The firm plans to assemble ten copies of the sports car worth $3.2 million each - there are already buyers for all cars.
The novelty is a modification of the F12 Berlinetta coupe, which was deprived of the roof and provided with many additional elements, both decorative and functional. These included leather-covered roll bars, redesigned bumpers and grilles, and Ferrari's North American Racing Team (NART) color scheme with white stripes and brand logos on the wheel arches.
The use of NART designations is Ferrari's nod to the still historic model, released in 1967 in the amount of ten units only for the US market - the Ferrari 275 GTS4 NART Spider
The interior of the F60 America is decorated in red and black leather, and is also complemented by inserts depicting the flag of the United States. The soft top mechanism of the roadster can be activated on the go - it works at speeds up to 120 km / h.
Under the hood of the car is a 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine that develops 740 hp. power and 690 Nm of thrust. The motor is paired with a seven-speed "robot" with two clutches. The roadster accelerates to the first “hundred” in 3.1 seconds.
